Depression exists. Our society doesn't want to talk about it because apparently there is no medicine or tablet for depression.

It is not as simple as just going to a doctor and getting medication prescribed to treat it. This is a common misconception about depression. But people who really suffer from depression, it is very different for them.

For people suffering from depression, it's like a dark shadow that covers the person and does not let go for a long time. They find joy in nothing. No birthdays, anniversaries, or dates can cheer them up.

Do you know that it has been reported that 1 in 10 Americans suffer from depression.

Most forms of depression have the following symptoms:

Anxiety

Anger

Difficulty enjoying things

Thoughts of suicide

Getting too little or no sleep at all

Not wanting to talk to someone

Even the most severe form of it can be treated. Of course, the treatment varies from person to person. For example, someone might have suffered from it because they experienced a loss of someone close to them, or something as little as failing an exam. It should be noted here that while failing an exam might appear something small for us, it isn't for the person who went into depression because of it.
