The Hartnett Law Firm practice extends across the State of Texas and primarily focuses on probates involving: complex trust and estate litigation, heirship issues including common law marriage determinations, and guardianship matters.

Today the Firm's focus remains grounded in probate and trust litigation. However, the Firm often handles general civil litigation too. Jim Jr.'s jury verdict in Cruciani v. Budd, a negligent misrepresentation case, is in the Texas Lawyer's Verdict Hall of Fame.
