Steve Goldberg became a CPA over 35 years ago and has practiced public accounting in South Bend since 1974. He received his B. S. in Industrial Management from the Krannert School of Business at Purdue University and an M. B. A. in Finance from Indiana University in Bloomington. Steve has strong ties with the Michiana area, growing up in South Bend and graduating from Riley High School.

Steve began his accounting career in 1971 with Arthur Andersen in Chicago, Illinois and worked on large audits throughout the Midwest. He returned to South Bend three years later and practiced with McGladrey and Pullen. He became a partner in 1980.

Steve left McGladrey in 1990 to start his own business. Throughout his career, Steve has concentrated on helping small businesses and individuals minimize their taxes and build on their wealth.

Since 1990, Steve has been involved in the Peer Review program instituted by the accounting profession to monitor CPA practices. He has worked on peer reviews in California, Ohio and Indiana. Steve has also served as a bankruptcy trustee, helping businesses maintain a positive net balance while managing all of their legal and tax matters.
