Our two founders are second-generation fashion industry professionals who learned their trade by working with their parents' firm, selling material wholesale in the latter days of the 20th century. Building on what they had learned from their parents' hard-earned industry wisdom, they created Search for Fabrics with a distinctly 21st-century touch. For the next two decades, they worked face-to-face with some of the most important players in the field. The brothers specialized in providing top-tier goods and outstanding customer service to all types of designers and manufacturers - always with an eye on the cutting edge of contemporary couture.

Based where fashion begins in Downtown Los Angeles, we pride ourselves on our ability to spot new trends early and see to it that customers have access to the materials they will need to stay on top of those trends. The fashion business never stops evolving and neither do we. "Inventory" and "hip" aren't words that are usually used together but we work hard to make sure that our inventory is always fresh.
