Who Should be Tested for Synucleinopathy?
Patients with:
• A movement disorder that may be related to α-synuclein deposition (PD, MSA, PAF, LBD)
• Autonomic dysfunction in whom MSA or PAF is suspected
• REM sleep behavior disorder in whom an α-synucleinopathy is suspected
Who Should be Tested for Small Fiber Neuropathy?
Patients with:
• Neuropathic pain and a normal electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction study (NCV)
• Unexplained widespread pain consistent with SFN
• Autonomic dysfunction suggestive of SFN
