RICHARD J. MUSLOW, CPA

. . . has provided small business clients with his expertise for over 20 years. After receiving his accounting degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Richard joined the audit department of Texas Eastern, where he honed his audit skills. He left Texas Eastern in 1979 and began his own accounting, consulting, and tax practice. Since then, he has become one of the tri-state area's top providers of oil and gas joint venture audit services.

Realizing the need to provide clients with services not available in most small CPA firms, Richard branched out into Quickbooks ®, Business Consulting, and Fraud Examination services through a collaborative arrangement with another CPA, Rita B. Williams, CPA, CFE.

TODD A. MUSLOW, CPA

. . . has unique industry experience, adding to his ability to advise his clients. After receiving his accounting degree from Centenary College in Shreveport, LA, Todd joined the Assurance (audit) division of KPMG, specializing in oil and gas companies. During his time with KPMG, he traveled throughout the United States and internationally for both public and non-public audit clients. After leaving KPMG in late 2002, Todd, with another business associate, formed Temple Oil Company LLC, an oil and gas services and transportation company headquartered in Shreveport. Temple Oil sold and transported refined petroleum products throughout the United States. In April 2006, Todd and his associate merged this entity with Bear Creek Environmental Systems, LLC, a transportation company also located in Shreveport. After a brief transition period, Todd became Chief Accounting Officer of O'Brien Resources LLC in October 2007. O'Brien is the parent company of Bear Creek, and Todd was responsible for all financial reporting, tax and audit matters of O'Brien, as well as its affiliates. Todd resigned his position with O'Brien effective August 2009 in order to partner with his father, Richard Muslow, CPA.
