Lana Rabinovich, M.D., Ph.D
Lana Rabinovich, M.D., Ph.D., is a board-certified dermatologist with Houston Dermatology Associates, P.A. She provides medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology to patients of all ages. Dr. Rabinovich earned her M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in New York City. Her doctoral research focused on molecular and cellular biology with a concentration in viral vaccine immunology. Dr. Rabinovich has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and presented at multiple national research and clinical conferences. An author of several patents, she was awarded the highly selective Jonas E. Salk Scholarship and Robert F. Furchgott Award throughout her academic career for her research.
Dr. Rabinovich completed her internship in internal medicine at New York University's Winthrop Hospital and her dermatology residency at State University of New York's Downstate Medical Center. She received her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Macaulay Honors College of the City University of New York where she was a Goldsmith Scholar and received the Chancellor's Award in Academic Excellence.
Dr. Rabinovich's clinical interests include acne, psoriasis, eczema, pediatric dermatology, cutaneous manifestations of systemic diseases and early detection and treatment of skin cancer. She offers many cosmetic procedures including chemical peels and injectables such as neuromodulators/fillers and laser surgery.
Outside of her practice she enjoys spending time with her family, yoga, salsa dancing, gardening and opera.
