Dr. Fink has been practicing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for over 25 years. He has two offices in the greater Hartford area and performs all aspects of oral surgery including removal of wisdom teeth, dental extractions, IV sedation, dental implants, apicoectomies, TMJ evaluations and biopsies.

Dr. Fink attended the State University of NY at Buffalo where he majored in biology and had a minor in chemistry. He worked in two genetics research laboratories while in college. He graduated from NYU College of Dentistry. After graduation he pursued a general practice residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He then went on to complete his oral and maxillofacial surgery training at The Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven which is affiliated with Yale New Haven Hospital. Some of his rotations included: five months on general anesthesia in the hospital anesthesia department performing anesthesia on patients with various medical/surgical issues. Other rotations were general surgery, plastic surgery, ENT, internal medicine including an ICU rotation, emergency department rotation and cardiology.

Dr Fink became a Diplomate of the American board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery shortly after graduation. He is board certified in dental anesthesiology by the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and is currently the President of the Connecticut Chapter of this organization. He is also a current member of the following national and local dental organizations: American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (Fellow), the American Dental Association, the Hartford and Connecticut Dental Societies, the Connecticut Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.

Dr. Fink's offices are licensed by the State of CT to administer general anesthesia and IV sedation. As required, he is current in advanced cardiac life support, and he and his entire staff have up to date basic life support for professional providers.

Dr. Fink holds attending teaching positions and has operating privileges at Hartford Hospital, St. Francis Hospital, Connecticut Children's Medical Center and the University of Connecticut Health Center. He has a published article on Surgical Endodontics in the Oral Surgery Clinics of North America periodical.
