Farr West Animal Hospital's goal is providing quality veterinary services to the Ogden, Utah area. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets such as spaying, neutering and vaccinations. We also want to help you with early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime. We offer grooming services provided by Paul and Opal Walsh formerly of PetSmart and Quail Pointe Veterinary Hospital. We also offer boarding services. Check out our video below!

Dr. Jeffrey S. Bailey and his staff understand the special role your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's health care. We treat your pet as we would our own. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. Our entire health care team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet owner.

Dr. Jeffrey S. Bailey and his staff provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas.

At Farr West Animal Hospital we strive to offer not only sound advice, but also optimal veterinary care, thus allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for a maximum number of years. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn't feeling well, but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy.

Jeffrey S. Bailey DVM

Dr. Bailey grew up here in Utah. He graduated from Weber High School and attended Utah State University where he earned a Bachelor of Animal Science degree. He was accepted to Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine where he earned a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Bailey and his family moved to a small town in Southern California. He practiced small animal medicine and surgery there for 10 years eventually owning 2 small animal hospitals. In 2007 a chance to return to Utah came and he and his family happily took it. Dr. Bailey started a relief veterinary service covering for time off for local veterinarians. He eventually took a full time position at Quail Pointe Veterinary Hospital.
