I'm Dr. Shilpa Thaker, M.D., a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and founder of Aum Internal Medicine, where I've been treating patients since 2011. I earned my undergraduate and master's degrees from UNLV, followed by my medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine and completed my residency in 2008.

My approach to care is deeply influenced by my Indian heritage and early exposure to Ayurvedic medicine, both at home and through my grandfather, Hariprasad Bhatt - an Ayurvedic physician, educator, and published author. Though I began my career as a computer programmer, my true calling has always been helping people, which led me to medicine.

I believe in empowering my patients through education and individualized care plans that support long-term wellness. My passion for comprehensive, patient-focused care has led me to expand into Wellness Medicine, offering treatments like EMSELLA and EMSCULPT NEO to help others feel strong, confident, and balanced.
