Ray Niswanger saw the growing need for a superior auto repair service company. He founded the Joe Gear Company in 1957, located in Monroe, LA, to help keep customers on the road. With a history of "doing what we say we're going to do," the Joe Gear Company has built a reputation for quick, high-quality personal service. Ray's son, Joe Niswanger, built upon his father's success and brought the company into the 21st century.

Joe Gear has then grown into six separate companies-one of which is Consolidated Truck Parts & Service. While each company offers slightly different services, all six are united by the Joe Gear philosophy of dependable service and quality products.

In our second location in Many, LA, we have over 22,000 square feet on a 3-acre lot, including an on-site rebuild center for rear-ends and transmissions. Originally opened as "Many Gear and Axle" in 1987, we changed the name to Consolidated Truck Parts & Service in 2016 to integrate with the branding of our largest store in Monroe. Same company, different sign, but the singular purpose is the same-to get you back on the road!

Our Alexandria, LA, location, established in 2016, is ready to assist in swiftly getting you back on the road. Spanning a generous 20,000-square-foot service center on a 3-acre plot, this facility is an authorized dealer for both Isuzu parts and service and Cummins engines. Mirroring the quality found at our Monroe and Many locations, this shop continues our tradition of providing superior truck parts, maintenance, and repairs.
