Dean founded Carpet Baggers Floorcoverings in 1992. He has led the company through the years as its President. Dean lives in Folly Beach with his wife LouAnn of 23 years and 3 girls. He is an active youth Sunday School teacher, Deacon at James Island Baptist Church. He also has served as the Head JV Girls Softball and Assistant Varsity Girls Softball Coach at James Island Charter High School. In addition, Dean is currently serving as President for the 2011 term for the EAGC (Executive Association of Greater Charleston) where he has been a member since 2000. His hobbies include fishing, softball, baseball, and following the Gamecocks!
