Dr. Syed O. Ali is a board-certified dermatologist in Katy, TX, who has been in practice for 16 years. Graduating from the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine in 1999, he completed his residency in dermatology at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium.

Dr. Ali has performed medical and dermatological expertise not only to civilians, but to the military during his time in the Army. He served as a flight surgeon for the State of Texas, Chief Medical Officer for the Western Corridor of Korea, and Chief of Dermatology at D.D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia.

In 2008, he served as the Chief Medical Officer for Phipps Troop Medical Clinic in Balad, Iraq. During his service, he was credited with serving the most patients in the whole theater of operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. By collaborating on cases with specialists in plastic surgery, ENT, and oral surgery, he expanded his surgical expertise.
