A Chiropractic Wellness Place, PC
My Mission is to Help People Come Back to Actively Participating in Life and Living Fully. Patients come to me with pain that is stopping them. Sometimes it's stopping them from working. Sometimes it's stopping them from playing with friends and loved ones. As a chiropractor, I have the tools to identify what's holding them back, to address those areas of pain and dysfunction and restore their ability to fully enjoy their life.
A native of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, Mark Chiungos earned his Bachelor's from The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester. He attended college as a scholarship athlete with local and national recognition.
Dr. Chiungos discovered his calling to chiropractic while working as a general contractor-rigorous work that led to debilitating back injuries. His care from a local chiropractor helped him improve his health, and also expand his knowledge, not only of chiropractic, but of nutrition, proper exercise, and general healthful living. Even as an athlete, he found he had so much to learn.
After spending a year learning everything he could about chiropractic, his doctor told him, "You've already become a chiropractor, philosophically. Why don't you become certified?"
Dr. Chiungos graduated Magna Cum Laude from New York Chiropractic College and worked for two years under an experienced chiropractor in Auburn, Massachusetts. He opened his practice in Chelmsford in 1999.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Chiungos has lectured as an Adjunct Professor at Middlesex Community College in Anatomy, Physiology, Nutritional Science and Biochemistry. He consistently meets and exceeds continuing education requirements to stay at the forefront of chiropractic research.
